Health System - Systems and Data Strategy Programme
Challenge
Our client needed a unified commercial system to manage procurement and contracts effectively across health and the NHS. Atamis, powered by Salesforce, was selected as a flexible Software as a Service (SaaS) solution offering a portfolio of modules.
Our Approach
Large-Scale Onboarding: Led the onboarding of 318 organisations, supporting a pipeline of £82B, £166B in active contracts, 10,000+ users and 56,000+ suppliers.
Technical Delivery: Designed and delivered practical support for 343 in-scope health organisations, including clear multi-channel communication and iterative development of data migration templates informed by lessons learnt.
Transparency & Reporting: Built an onboarding dashboard using live system data for real-time tracking and reporting to stakeholders, senior officials and the NHS Chief Commercial Officer. Produced detailed reports for Programme Boards and the Strategic Commercial Steering Group (SCSG) using narrative summaries, Excel, PowerPoint and Atamis analytics.
Strategic Support: Supported the Outline Business Case (OBC) for refinancing central funding, ensuring long-term sustainability.
Governance & Risk: Embedded robust project planning, execution and risk management with timely mechanisms for escalation to the Programme Director.
