Challenge

The client faced an urgent challenge: supporting six critical workstreams while maintaining continuity of supply.

Our Approach

  • Workforce Transformation: Led a rapid mobilisation project, redeploying 85 permanent staff and external Civil Servants from business-as-usual roles into programme delivery.

  • Skills Matching: Developed an online skills matrix to match staff to roles based on capability and experience. Worked closely with workstream leads to identify requirements and secure the best fit for each position.

  • Wellbeing & Induction: Strengthened induction materials in collaboration with HR, providing comprehensive guidance for reallocated colleagues later adopted as best practice across the wider EU Exit team.

  • Governance & Engagement: Supported governance and stakeholder engagement by reporting bi-monthly to senior officials and preparing financial briefings for the Minister.

  • PMO Support: Helped the newly formed PMO set clear direction and mobilise colleagues across divisions to utilise core central services.
